Some personal thoughts regarding jamming:
When I am together with other musicians and do some jamming I am very interested in what the other musicians are playing. This means if somebody plays an intro, a solo or sings, I back down, it's his turn and I respect that in this 30 seconds he is giving his best.
The most important music in a group is what you don't play.
I do not enjoy if everybody is pounding his instrument and tries to be louder then the others.
